Hello,
This card was made for the October Card Chain Challenge and it is wending its way to Illinois. I hope Ellie likes it.
The flower and sentiment are both from SU retired set called Inked & Tiled. My cardbase is Not Quite Navy. Using my MISTI, I stamped the flower image with VersaMark and sprinkled on two WOW glitter embossing powders. Metaline Kiwi Krush and Carousel are the colors.
To cover a boo-boo, I used an old oval punch to cut an opening that turned out to be perfect for my Hello Friend greeting from the above set too. I stamped through the opening onto white cardstock on the inside. Had to use a stamping block for that, something I hadn't used in ages. Do you all use your blocks anymore?
I mimicked the color of the flower with three sticky dots from my bling drawer and was done. I just wrote a note before mailing on the paper inside.
Here are the options for October. I like doing friendship cards.

Beautiful card and embossed flower-I do use my blocks for smaller stamps but have a stamp perfect stamping platform(on it's last legs now) for larger stamps.

A lovely floral friendship card which I’m sure Ellie will love. Xxx
Thank you for this beautiful card Jeanne. It's so beautiful with the pretty embossing and glitter and I love how you did the greeting. Would not have guessed it was due to a mistake. Perfect colors too as I love all shades of blue especially the darker blues!
Gorgeous rich blue with embossed flower, Jeanne!!
I love the simplicity of this and that lovely deep blue. I can see why it was hard to photograph xx
Love this CAS card. And YES, I still use a stamping block - most of the time for stamping sentiments. LOL
What a lovely CAS design Jeanne - your embossed flower stem is so pretty against the blue card base! Julia xx
Some cards are just impossible to photograph, aren't they! Tomorrow, I'll be on my third attempt for the November card I'm sending to Linda. I think you did a great job, and the colours show up very well. such a classy make. Thanks for being a link in our chain again, Jo x
Beautifully classy card, Jeanne! Yes, I do sometimes use my blocks, especially for little stamps that I'm stamping randomly on a panel.
