Lovely Teal & Silver

Hello!

Today I made a card to enter the Color Hues: #122 - Teal and Silver challenge. So here is my card. I like it.  You?  It is nice to have another one finished for my Christmas list.

To make the card I used retired Stampin' Up! Taken With Teal cardstock to make an A2 size left folding card. I have only a couple of sheets left, but found some more on-line. Expensive, but that's okay as I love the color. Acturally, any hue of blue is my favorite!

In my huge stash of specialty card stock I found a pack of shiny silver from Erin Lee Creative. Using my Stamp & Cut machine,  I cut out both flower and the greeting. Gluing them was the hard part because as usual, I didn't think to use an adhesive sheet. Sigh. My finger in the glue worked out. :-)

The elegant die is retired from Poppy Stamps called Stained Glass Poinsettia. The word die Joy is an older goodie from Queen & Co.

Inside is a nice piece of white cardstock with a couple of snowflakes cut from the leftover silver paper. I will write a note before mailing.

I almost always write a note in my Christmas cards. Do you? A great deal of my friends live out of state.

A cloudy but quite warm for November day here...in the 40's. I am looking forward to some snow, but it probably will be a while yet.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again. I sure appreceiate comments!

Beautiful card! I love the color combo. I generally stamp a sentiment inside each of my Christmas cards, but I also include a Christmas letter (printed with my computer) or a handwritten note.

Beautiful card and beautiful poinsettia die, love the colour combo, I usually just add a little handwritten note. I usually spread glue on my desk or cutting mat and dip intricate dies in -works for me lol.

CAS and oh so lovely Jeanne! I love the delicacy of the die you used and how it really shines against the darker teal cardstock! And yes, I always write a little handwritten note in my cards...makes it more personal!! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely, lovely card with us at the Color Hues Challenge! Marcia (DT) :0)
