A Birthday Princess

Hello Again!

I am sharing the card I made for my great-granddaugher's 4th birthday which is soon. She decided she wanted a princess party and a fancy dress and crown to wear. She got both and looked darling.

Hope she likes the card. I do. Do you?

I have had this stamp for years but don't think I ever have used it. So am addding the card to NBUS #79. The stamp is by Hampton Art, but am not sure how old it is. I love my collection of wooden stamps!

The embossed backhround I found in my "to use" stash, so I  covered the A2 whole card front. After coloring the image with my SU Blends, I framed and cropped it with Spellbinders Fluted Classics Rectangles die. That seems to be retired.

Colors used: Light Pink Pirouette, Boho Blue, and Daffodil Delight along with an old silver Jelly Roll pen. I just stamped Happy Birthday inside.

My great-granddaughter hurried past the card to open her present. Her mother liked my card, though.

It was a lovely, lively, and noisy birthday party yesterday. Fun, but I was glad to get home to the quiet. 😊

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.

Sweet card. I hope her mother saves it for her. She'll defiinitely appreciate it when she's older. Little ones are always more interested in the presents.
