Love Chocolate

Happy Hello,

Showing today a card created a while ago but never shared. I am a HUGE chocolate lover, so this retired Stampin' Up! stamp and die set was a no brainer purchase for me. Even though this card was done in blue tones, not brown, I think it is furn. I'm sorry, but all the things used to make this card are retired SU, but I like using what I have 'cuz so much has not seen some love in ages.

Here are the details:

The card base is Seaside Spray, a nice pale blue cardstock. I cut a piece of the 2020-2022 In Color DSP in the blue wood grain-like paper diagonally leaving space for the sentiment. It's an A2 size card, top folded.

The word Chocolate was die cut from snippets of Night of Navy cardstock, then enhanced with clear embossing powder for shine. This die is from the Love You More Than stamp and die set. I found the tiny hearts die in the Detailed Bee die set and made it shiny too.

A pretty easy card to do. I'm going to send it to a friend who also loves chocolate. I am adding the card to the Snippets Playground Challenge #446 as the word and hearts are from snippets of paper.

It is bitter cold today here in MN, with wind chill temps below zero. Stay warm, my friends in cold places. I would sure love it if you leave a comment. I'll return the visit. Hugs!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.

  1. A lovely clean and simple card using up a few snippets.
Thanks for entering a piece of homework to the Snippets Playground. If you make your way to the Playground Treehouse I will make you a nice mug of hot chocolate and give you a biscuit! Xxx

  3. Super CAS card. And as a fellow chocolate lover, I really appreciate its theme! You asked where I got the tree die for the two Christmas cards I recently shared on my blog. The die is an unbranded one from Ali Express. Let me know if you want more info about it.
