I finished this card today and cannot decide if I like it better with or without the sentiment. Please help me decide. I haven't decided where I will send the card, but have a couple of people in mind.
As you may know, roses are my favorite flower. When living in CA I had rose bushes and loved having them in the house and on my desk at work. I did try to have a bush here in a pot on my old patio and over-wintering it in the garage, but that did not work. So I have tons of flower stamps instead. This one is new, so am heading over to NBUS #46. edit: Oops I have used this stamp before, not the die, though.
The rose stamp and die are from Picket Fence called A Rose. Using a blending brush, I colored it with Ranger Distress Oxide in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry. I do love pink. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and the trellis die cut was a gift from a friend. Sorry, but I don't remember who sent it. So that is it from me this week. Next week I'll be at my daughter's home pet sitting. I know she has left me a lot of good food as she is a great cook and knows my tastes. :-)

ReplyDeleteI love that soft pink rose with the black and white background and think I prefer it with the sentiment. When I first started making cards I didn't like sentiments on the front. Now I never make them without. Strange how we change over time xx
