Happy Hello!
Here is my entry for the January 2023 Card Chain Challenge. The card has been sent to Greta, whom I am sure you all know and admire. Her cards are fabulous, IMO.
My floral focal point is this lovely stamp that arrived from Pinkfresh Studio recently. My card base is Stampin' Up! Old Olive. I colored part of the image with SU Stampin' Blends markers in the light shades, Pink Pirouette, Seaside Spray, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, and Old Olive. Oh, and one dark looking but light Real Red tidbits. The Color Lifter pen came in handy a couple of times, ya know!
As the sketch for this challenge showed a diagonal stripe bisecting the card, I did that with triangle of light gray cardstock from my parts stash. A thin strip of black cardstock separates the sections. My sentiment is made with a fun wooden stamp by Hampton Art Stamps that I have had forever, but rarely used. Isn't this a just-right stamp for a friend?
Take good care, my blog friends. It's cold here in Minnesota! Brrr! See you next time. Cyber hugs.
I completely agree with you about Greta's cards. they are fabulous and your card today is fabulous too, great take on the sketch xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! We would love you to share this on our challenge, Park Hopping My Happy Place, a theme park inspired challenge. Your card clearly represents the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot in Florida. https://parkhoppingmyhappyplace.com/
