Warm Wishes

 Winter Greetings!

I am  posting in the Snippets Playground Challenge #521. It has been ages since I have joined and it is about time I can hear Sarn and Di say. :-) Can you see my snippet along side the card?

I was thinking of snow (we have so little here right now) and quickly got out an oldie Stampin Up embossing folder to use on my Night of Navy cardbase. Oops, the snow is blue. Being afraid to use paint trying to color them white I used instead Simon Says Stamp powder embossing prep bag. Hard to see on the card but looks a little like snow flakes on the card.

The flying owl is from SU Winter Owls die set. Retired now, but special so I will always keep it. I used Stick It to try and keep all the tiny pieces in place. It didn't work very well.

The sentiment is another oldie called Warm Winter Wishes by Cut Plorations part of Stamplorations.

I just looked out the window and it is snowing! Yay, a white Christmas after all. Since I don't have a car or drive, I love it when it snows.

Happy and Merry Christmas to all. 🎄

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again. I will visit you too and I love any comments.

Lovely card, Jeanne. I had to drive home from Burnsville this afternoon, so I was definitely not loving the snow then. Luckily, the traffic had slowed down a bit and drivers were being extra careful.

A lovely winter card made with your snippets. Although the picture is sideways in the Playground, it’s fine when you click on it to visit your blog.

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for a hot toddy after Nativity Play rehearsals. xxx
