Snowy Owls

 Happy New Year!

Today I am adding this card to the Snippets Playground: Challenge 522. I am playing just for fun. I love this unmounted stamp that I got on Esty. They called it Winter Owls and said it is from The ArtFloozy. 

Using my MISTI, I stamped with Memento black ink and colored the dressed up owls with SU Blends. I used a couple of brown hues, Granny Apple Green, Light Night of Navy, Light Shaded Spruce, Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray, and used Timid Tiger for the noses.  Aren't they cute? They make me smile. 

My snippets are from a nice rectangle piece of white c.s. found in my "to use" bag. I have a bag for each color scraps I use a lot. The branches are also snippets from my stash. 

I fussy cut out the owls and glued them atop branch dies from SU Winter Owls die set. To finish, I embossed an A2 base card with retired Softly Falling embossing folder and put a piece of white card stock inside ready for a note when I send the card. 

It is really pretty outside today, clear blue sky and white snow everywhere. BUT it is cold. Only 10 degrees F. High of 11 or so. Brrr.
