Naughty or Nice Puppy

Hello Again!

First time entering a Penny Black Saturday Challenge, so this link goes to the December 2025 challenge.  I do have a favorite in my collection of PB stamps: Naughty or Nice?  It is from 2009 and I love it. So fun, I think. Do you like it?

I stamped this funny wooden stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the images with SU Blends. Used Soft Suede, Real Red and Evening Evergreen colors. The Blends are so nice to color with, IMHO.

I wanted more snowflakes around, so carefully used just part of Catherine Pooler's Swirling Snow Background Stamp. Messed up my big image, so cut it down to just 2"x5-1/2" then matted it with black.

The sentiment is from the SU set called Stars At Night. Inside I stamped Merry Christmas from the same set. This set is retired, but I see it for sale a few places on line. My dog loving friend will be getting this card.

Today we have lovely blue skies with a few clouds. Temps are still cold, but the snow covered view out my window is very pretty.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again. I sure appreciate comments and will visit you too.

Fun card! Nice save when you cut down your image and matted it. We wouldn't have known if you hadn't told us.

Such a cheerful and clever card design. The Naughty or Nice stamp really shines with the bold coloring, and the way you added extra snowflakes gives the whole piece a lively winter feel. Cutting the panel down after the mishap was a smart save it actually makes the layout look crisp and balanced. The black matting frames everything beautifully, and the sentiment ties it all together perfectly for a festive card your friend will treasure.
