My 3 Halloween Cards

 Happy November 1st

Can you believe it is November? Before I get into making Christmas cards, I made the three cards below for my grandchildren. Two are away at college, but seem to like getting my cards and the third one is for my great-granddaughter who just turned 2.

This is the one that went to PA to my granddaughter. The dsp is from an old ppaper ack I got from Stampin' Up! called Spooky Night. The cat I cut out from another piece of the paper using my kitty punch from SU. The punch is avaliable several places online. I tried to add embossing powder to to the black cat for texture, but not covering his eyes worked out best.

The witch's hat is from a newer SU set called Bewitching that I bought last year. It is also available a few places online. This is probably not my best card. No excuse, but I like it.

This next one I again used dsp from the pack above helping to make it more masculine for my grandson. He texted me that he likes it!

The ghosts are dies by Poppy Stamps and the Boo is from my stash. I don't know the maker. The spider is a die cut from Cherry Lynn Designs that I've had forever. I found it is still in stock and on sale right now.  I cut it in black cardstock and made it dangle loosely using black string.

This last card for my little great-granddaugher uses the above dsp on a white cardbase along with a black partial border. The fun pumpkins and cat is an old stamp from Impression Obsession called Pumpkin Kitty. Sorry, it is no longer available.

So that's it. I hope you had a nice Halloween with some cute little costumed kids at your door.

It is chilly here with some of the snow still sticking. It'll be in the 40's next week.

Bye for now.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again and I love comments. :-)

  1. It's hard to make a lot of Halloween cards (or Thanksgiving cards) with Christmas looming huge on the horizon, but I sure love the three you made for your grands, Jeanne! I can see why they love getting them - even at college-age! Goodness, snow on Halloween is foreboding, isn't it? Maybe you won't get any more now in November!🤞Hugs, Darnell
