A Winter Birthday Card

 Happy Greetings!

I follow Loll whom I am sure you all know, and admire her creativity and friendliness very much. When I saw she was Guest Designing at Seize The Birthday #273, I decided to make and submit a card. First time playing there.

So here's my card. It is using the toppings suggesion which is to use neutrals only. The card was difficult to photograph due to the shiny silver paper that I used to cut out my greeting. If you click on it to enlarge, you can see that it says Happy Winter Birthday.

Lots of supplies from different companys helped me make this card. First and foremost is the lovely Sweater Weather die cut in white cardstock that was a gift from Linda W and never used. Thanks Linda! So am adding this card to NBUS Challenge #56

I found that the sweater plate Linda used is from Taylored Expressions. It is available a couple of places online. I found the words happy and winter dies in my Elizabeth Craft Designs Words 5 set. I cannot find this set anywhere, sorry.  I cut all the words from a piece of silver cardstock from DCWV Metallics Mat Stack, available lots of places.

Searching through all my birthday dies I cam across the large birthday die in a really old Papertrey Ink $5 birthday set. I like the different font.

To finish up, all was glued down onto the sweater grid piece and placed onto an A2 size card base in Stampin' Up! Basic Gray.

That's it for now. I have another card almost ready to post, so see you later, I hope.

It's been a few cool nights and warmish days here in Minnesota. Love this weather. 😊

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.

  1. Your sweater weather die-cut background is so pretty. Looks like snowflakes to me! :) So pretty with the iridescent birthday sentiment. Thanks for playing along at Seize the Birthday, Jeanne! xx
