Hello!
I chose the Sketch Option this month for the Card Chain Challenge. My card is off to Texas this month and I hope Patricia likes it.
I do love butterflies and when I had a garden I enjoyed seeing them visit the flowers looking for nectar, I suppose. Monarchs do have a particular flower they prefer, the Milkweed. I bet you knew that.
My card was made to look like a Monarch using new to me retired dies from Memory Box. I hunted the dies down after receiving a card with them from Darnell. The butterflies are called Vivienne and Darla.
The background in white cardstock is embossed with another newbie to me, the Spellbinders 3D embossing folder called Molded Frame. I tweaked on it to make it the size I wanted.
Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie orange and Basic Black cardstock were used to make the butterfly and the black for my card base. A small hello from Newton's Nook finished up my card front.
There is a white piece of c.s. inside where I wrote a note.
