Happy Almost Spring!
Ignore the camera date on the card. First I set the current date wrong AND then used year 2025 as my old camera doesn't go up further. Senior moments attacking too, teehee.
My base card and the die cut leaves are from Stampin Up retired Gumball Green cardstock. The flower die is from SU's set called Poppy Moments, not sure where leaf die is from. So many retired things, sorry. But it feels good to use what I have, right?
I glued the flower on an embossed sheet of PTI white using an older SU folder called Fern. The greeting is a goodie from Stamplorations. The label shape is from a Simon Says Stamp set, I think.
Belatedly I realize I used the April CCC colors for this March card. Sigh. More old person moments, right? But I am one.
Edited to correct a few things.

This is so fresh and pretty Jeanne, that peony is beautiful. I’m with you on the idea that using older supplies feels good, doing something new with something we’ve had for years can be much more satisfying than buying something new all the time, I think!
Love your single peony atop the embossed background, Jeanne!! So glad we were able to get together in March!!
What a beautiful flower! Good you could get rid of the leaves and still be able to enjoy using it. The embossed background is perfect! Have a lovely Easter, Jeanne!
I was so happy to receive your lovely card Jeanne! Love the soft pink of the bloom and the wonderful fern embossed background! Julia xx
I love how you have made that peony the star of the show. It looks so good in those colours with the embossed background. Who cares about the tiny errors, we all make them all the time xx
Beautiful.
A very pretty peony flower! Wonderful embossed background! And, perfect sentiment for your lovely card!
We just have to embrace our senior moments, don't we, Jeanne?! I mean, what's the alternative?! You did a great job with this pretty flower and I love how you lobbed off the leaves and fussy-cut it and put it with the pretty stem! A lot of my stuff is old and retired, too, but yes, it feels wrong not to use it and the whole idea is for friends to get design ideas, not necessarily use the exact same stuff. Or at least that's how I feel. I hope you are warming up there and seeing signs of spring! Hugs, Darnell
The card is marvelous with the single peony on the lovely embossed layer.
