Loving Blue and White Together

 Howdy!

Blue being my favorite color (next to pink) so I had to join The Color Hues Challenge for January 2026.

Speaking of 2026, my camera is old and the year date doesn't have 2026. See, it reverted to 2008! Really, I took the picture today!

What is also really old is my Stampin Up sailboat punch. I am not sure how old and I doubt that I've used it is years.

My cardbase is SU Night of Navy and the lighter blue is Boho Blue. I embossed the piece of blue with the Altenew folder called Ribbon Waves.

The white paper is from my scrap drawer. I doubled up the moon and sailboat images but not the stars. The moon was done with a small punch.

I used the tiny star from a cluster of stars in the Stars At Night die set and glued them with tiny dots of Tombow glue.

It's the first time I have used this embossing folder, so am adding my card to NBUS # 82 and adding to the Snippets Playground #524 beacause of the found pieces of white.

A very cold day here in MN, with the temp in single digits with a lot of wind making it feel even colder. A good day to stay in and craft!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.

Merry & Bright

Happy New Year and Happy Holidays!

I started to post this, then realized I was too early, so deleted that post but kept the important parts. So really, here is my posting for the December Woodblock Wednesday. A pretty simple card, but I like it.

The A2 card base is Taken With Teal, retired by SU. I love the color and recently bought a pack on line. Expensive, but worth it.

Keeping the card simple, I used a oldie and retired and wonderful stamp by Hero Arts. It's dated 2005!
I inked up the stamp with Encore! Silver ink. To add some balancing, I stamped in the corner an image also from SU called Stars At Night.

It took many tries to get a decent photo, but finally was ok with this one. The white paper behing is trying to cover up some of my messy desk. LOL

Inside I placed a nice piece of white card stock with Merry Christmas from the above set also done in silver. There is room for a note, what I try to do in my holiday cards, if I am not too rushed. Do you do that too?

Happy New Year Amy and all my readers. Thanks for following and challenging us, Amy.

Sunny and cold today. Around 10 degrees F. Brrr, but the snow is pretty.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.
