Hello,
This month I tried to use the suggested colors for my card that has gone to Massachusetts. For my sentiment I used one of the colors. I am happy with this card.
The flower and leaf are from Altenew's Peony Bouquet kit. I am still learning how to use these layering stamps and dies. I heat embossed in white with Brutus Monroe power before coloring. I used SU blends in Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green to color the flower. Did you notice the white emossing became lilac? Happy accident.
The purple card base is Stampin' Up! I am pretty sure, but am not sure of the color name.
Done in Encore Silver ink, the sentiment is called The Only Flower by Rubbernecker. First time used, so am adding my card to NBUS #62 even though my card is for an April challenge.
I wrote a note to Julia inside. I like making new friends with being in this challenge!
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come by again.
This is lovely, Jeanne! What a gorgeous way to play with the CCC colour palette, Jo x
ReplyDeleteAnd Julia is a lovely friend to have, Jeanne! She, too, will be happy with this pretty floral friendship card! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I rarely choose the color palette because I just can't seem to think of ways to get the colors in. You're is perfect. So glad you're part of the Card Chain Challenge.
ReplyDeleteReally nice Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteHello, Jeanne! I do hope you are doing well - once again, I've sent you an email that failed to be delivered. YOU have won my Blog-a-versary prize! If I don't hear from you by Monday at 9 am EDT I will have my husband choose another, to be fair.

DeleteI bet Julia was thrilled with this gorgeous card Jeanne and to get a note inside would be the icing on the cake! The colour palette is tricky I think but you have made it look effortlessly elegant with your eyecatching flower and leaf combo. I love the sentiment too. Vicky x
